In short
A flaw in the OSPF routing daemon allows an attacker on an adjacent network to send malformed OSPF packets without authentication. This action can cause the routing process to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or leak internal memory data. The vulnerability requires no user interaction or prior login.

The vendor's description

Am I affected?
[ protocols ospf area <area> interface <interface> ]
Workarounds
If OSPF packet processing on an enabled interface isn't needed, but it has just been configured so that it's added to the LSDB, ensure it's configured as 'passive': [ protocols ospf area <area> interface <interface> passive ]
The rpd crash only occurs with [ protocols ospf traceoptions flag lsa-update detail ] configured, so removing that line will prevent this.
Exploitation
Juniper SIRT is not aware of any malicious exploitation of this vulnerability.
